Vacations and Christmas got you in debt????

I love the month of October.  The main reasons are that the weather cools down, football season is in full swing and Fall Break!  Fall Break is a great time to go out of town.  It’s usually cheaper and less crowded.  One valuable lesson I have learned about taking vacations is to save for them during the year.  The last thing I want to do is to go into debt while on vacation and then have to take a few months to pay it off.  I would rather be saving for the next trip.  Another lesson I have learned is to have a “vacation fund” so that I know how much I have to spend and I don’t take money from other things that I am saving for.  These two budget tips will help vacations become a better experience for you and your family.

I prepare for Christmas the same way.  Christmas happens every December 25 but many do not prepare for it.  It can be very expensive and so many spend money that they don’t have.

The more prepared you are, the better things like this will be.  I would love to help you with your finances.  Visit my website at and schedule a session today.
